Video Production

WALKING TO SCHOOL VIDEO

 WALKING TO SCHOOL ROL

In this class we learn how to use a camera properly as well as how to take pictures and take video professionally. In this project we learned how to make every shot we took look continuous throughout the video. We also learned how to edit the videos and how to lower the volume on each shot.

In this project we got as many actors as we wanted and we made a whole video of anything we wanted. While we were filming we had to make it look continuous. We had to pick music that matched the video as well. In the project we had to make our shots look continuous. We can't have a shot where someone is walking and in the next shot they are standing still. What I went through to succeed in this project is that you have to remain focused to finish on time as well as how to make a video look continuous. What I learned how to do in this project is how to act in a video as well as how to edit a shot properly. What this tells me about me is that I'm building more confidence to be less camera shy. So that I can pass this class with a good grade.

One of the SLO’s I used in this project was “Self directed learner who communicates effectively” also “Thinking creatively and critically”. These demonstrated my success because when I was filming my video I had to be the one telling my actors when to stop or what to do in the shot. I could have worked more in Thinking critically and Creatively.

The two most important thing I've learned in this class are how to take a shot properly also how to edit correctly. The skills I've learned in this class is communication skills because I have to communicate with my classmates
